How to get newer ssl certificats

My browser is returning a cognito-idp.<region>. Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID error when i try to reach my company site. My co-workers on mac have no such issue, which leads me to believe this is related to my OS and computer.

if i visit the cognito-idp URL and look at the URL I'm told it's invalid and that tit was issued on October 21 2021, which would make sense given the timing of the issue. The issuer is Amazon, so i don't think this is some kind of man in the middle attack. The CN (not sure what that means) is ptfs.com

I'm still trying to investigate this. My first thought is to update from 20.04 to the latest version (21) even though i prefer the LTS as i don't have to upgrade as often.
