Ubuntu Installation advice required

I want to install ubuntu on my laptop asus.I have one 238 gb ssd and 1000 gb hdd.Recommend me the partition scheme.I want to install OS on ssd.Should I have separate /home dir or not?What should be the location of /home on hdd or ssd?
